The Placement Cell organizes career guidance programs for all the students starting from first year. The cell arranges training programs like Mock Interviews, Group Discussions, Communication Skills Workshop etc and it also organizes Public Sector Exam Training for students who are interested to join Government Sectors. It also invites HR Managers from different industries to conduct training programs for final year students.

The vision of the Training and Placement is to guide students to choose right career and to give knowledge, skill and aptitude and meet the manpower requirements of the Industry. It invites companies from various fields like Engineering, MBA, Pharmacy, Commerce & Computer Application to be a part of the placement process at SPEC. • The objective of Training & Placement is to provide employment opportunities and professional training to the students. We foster a climate where collaboration with industry, and technology that can support continuous innovation and growth. Our institutions provide the students education, research and connect them with excellent professionals. The Cell provides complete support to the visiting companies at every stage of placement process. The Cell is well equipped with ample infrastructure in terms of Testing halls, Consultancy Hall for Presentations, Pre-Placement Talks, Written Tests, Mock Interviews etc. Interviews and Group Discussions are conducted regularly minding the requirement of the visiting companies.
• To mold the students to meet the corporate expectation and place them in reputed companies based on the expected job profiles of each student.
• To Create awareness among students regarding available career options and help them in identifying their career objectives.
• To guide the students in developing skills and job-search strategies required to achieve their career objectives.

(Assessment Test, Group discussion, Personal Interview, Release of job Offer letter)

• Companies are invited through personal interaction, e-mails or phonecalls
• Companies interested in recruiting SPEC students will revert back on email of the Training and PlacementCoordinator.
• Recruiters need to share the below given details before conducting the drive:-

1. Name of the Position beingoffered
2. Number ofopenings
3. Required Skills /Qualification
4. Compensationpackage.
5. Duration of Training and/orProbation
6. Confirmation of campus visit and preferreddates.
7. Theproceduretobefollowedduringthecampusrecruitment drive.

• The Placement Cell scrutinizes the Job Requirement data of all the companies. The company/organization should confirm or negotiate the dates with the PlacementCell.

• The pre-placement talks are held at the Institute or virtually for which the companies make presentations about their operations and job profile(s)offered.
• The company/organization is required to furnish the final list of students as soon as possible after the completion of the selection procedure.Thecompanywillsendtheofferlettertotheplacement officer latest by the date discussed.

Placement Policy

• All students who expect to graduate from the Institute by the end oftheacademicyearandareseekingemploymentmayregisterfor campus placements with thisoffice.
• Placement Registration is for One Academic YearOnly.
• The Registration form may be downloaded from the Placement page of the Institutewebsite.
• Campus placement is a facility provided for the students of SPEC. Registration is not compulsory at all. Students not interested in placements are requested not to register forplacements.
• Only registered students are allowed to appear in campus recruitment process.
• Students are required to express their willingness in writing for appearing in the campus recruitment process by mentioning their interest for college placement, Abroad study, Having Family Business/Entrepreneur, placements for the rest of the academicyear.
• Students will be allowed to have a single job offeronly.
• Students need to submit their offer letter copy to concern department TPO.

Students will be de-registered from the placement cell if they are involvedinanyin-disciplinaryactivitiesinanystageofthecampus recruitment.
